School building & Corridors
Our school, Amrita Vidyalayam, is located on 200 feet bye pass service road. The school is sprawled over an impressive 5.5 acre area. The campus is landscaped and manicured. A play area with swings, slides, merry-go-round and see-saw are well maintained for children.
The class rooms and corridors are big and spacious. The classrooms are airy with ample ventilation. It provides the perfect place for studying. Corridors are wide to facilitate the free movement of students and staff. Drinking water is available for all in the corridor.
Classrooms and Smart class
Tables and chairs are neatly arranged with adequate spacing. Provisions are available for display of charts. A cupboard has been provided in each classroom for the safe custody of books. A table and chair is provided for the teachers.
Access to educom is available in classrooms for a better understanding of the lessons taught. Information can be illustrated with the help of photos, maps, graphs, flowcharts and animated videos.
Physics, Chemistry & Biology Laboratories
The Laboratories are well equipped to conduct experiments as per the syllabus of CBSE. The labs are periodically upgraded to fulfil the requirements of the curriculum. Students have facilities to perform experiments and to analyse results so as to match their practical observations with theoretical knowledge.
Computer Lab
The computer lab provides space for computer services. The computers in every workstation have access to internet and the required software to help students. Vocational educators in the field of computer are available to guide students.
Maths lab
The well-equipped and spacious mathematics laboratory provides a place for students to explore patterns and ideas. There is an adequate learning material which helps students to discover, learn and develop an interest in mathematics.
Library
There is a large library with a vast collection of books. Labelled racks are provided for easy identification. Comfortable seating arrangements are available for the benefit of students and teachers. Expert Librarians are available to render their services with regards to information and updation.
Transport facility
Transport facilities are available for students. All safety measures have been formulated and implemented to ensure the safety and security of the students.
Prayer hall
Amrita Vidyalayam students are offered the facilities to pray anytime in the Bhajan Hall. We welcome students of all faith. The moment one enters the Bhajan Hall our beloved Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi showers blessings upon the noble souls.
CCTV camera & Fire safety
School security camera and video surveillance system safeguarding the well-being of all students and staff are placed optimally for effective monitoring.
Every floor has fire extinguishers as a safety measure in order to prevent anything untoward from happening. In the case of emergency these come handy.
Activity Classroom
Activity based education helps the student to use critical and lateral thinking. Amrita Vidyalayam fosters student's ability to seek out-of-the-box solutions. It helps in achieving higher efficiency in learning. The traditional subject knowledge is used to achieve creative goals. The education system aims at adhering to the needs of an individual and the society.
Indoor Games
Indoor games provide new learning experience to children. The enclosed area provides age appropriate play equipments and facilities. Games like chess and carrom improves concentration, creativity and brain power Fun and exciting games such as Target and Treasure Hunt improves logical thinking and reasoning in students.
Outdoor Games
Games are an important part of human life. Games keep us healthy and active. One’s good health is very important for a healthy life because it helps one to work actively. In fact, our achievements are the results of our physical and mental well-being. Playing outdoor games makes our bones stronger. We can get our immunity built by playing. In fact, the overall health problems get resolved by playing outdoor games. They refresh our mind and body.
KG Play Area
Our school play area has equipment such as slide, seesaw, etc. which help children develop physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, as well as providing recreation and enjoyment and supporting social and emotional development.
